The address to our office is 2530 N. Calvert Street Baltimore Maryland 21218. We are located on the Ground Floor. Upon entering the building go down the steps and enter our office suite. If for any reason, you need to cancel or reschedule please call the office and let us know as soon as possible.
Parking Note: If you are unable to find parking on the street there is a FREE parking lot behind the building that you can get to by making a left onto 25 1/2 street (once you are driving on North Calvert Street) and an immediate right at the Stop sign and you can park in any spot on the left and walk around to the front of the building.

Marketing and Public Relations Internship

As an intern with Excel Media Group, you will utilize all aspects of the public relations field and complete this program ready to enter any fast-paced public relations firm with excellent skills. It’s essential that applicants to this position have excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details.
Responsibilities
· Monitor all forms of media
· Schedule and coordinate speaking engagements, appearances, photoshoots, and other special events
· Write press releases and other materials
· Screen phone calls
· Assist with mailings, print production
· Create interview preparation materials
· Compile contact lists
· Search for press clippings
· Create or update databases
· Greet guests and partners
Requirements
Students applying for this internship must have strong communication skills and should be majoring in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism. Applicants should also have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of social media.
