Customers who enter an invalid mailbox number, invalid activation pin or attempt to connect more than 1 device to the same extension number will be unable to activate any device for a period of 24 hours. It is important to enter the web address, mailbox number and activation pin exactly as shown in the Support Portal. If you need help locating this information or accessing the Support Portal please Submit A Ticket and a member of our staff will be happy to assist you.
- Download and install the Grandstream Wave application from the Google Play store. A link to the Android and IOS versions can be found on the Grandstream website here by clicking here.
- Launch the application.
- Click ALLOW when prompted.
- Click SETTINGS button on the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
- Click PROVISION SETTINGS from the menu of options.
Click on the following options and enter the appropriate information:
- Config Upgrade Via = HTTPS is recommended.
- Config Server Path = Enter provision.phone123.me/wave/MAILBOXNUMBER/ACTIVATIONPIN
- HTTP/HTTPS User Name = Leave Blank
- HTTP/HTTPS Password = Leave Blank
Example Config Server Path would be: provision.phone123.me/wave/3001002/12345
When finished complete the configuration:
- Click START PROVISIONING after all the fields have been set properly.
- Click YES to confirm.
- You will be redirected to the SETTING menu.
- Click EXIT from the menu.
- Click YES to exit the application.
- The Grandstream Wave application will close.
- Launch the Grandstream Wave application on your phone.
- Click KEYPAD from the bottom menu.
- If the provisioning was successful then you should see the 4 digit extension for your phone on the top right hand corner of your screen.
Please read the remaining instructions for common configuration changes.
Setup Do Not Disturb
Enable Do Not Disturb timer to prevent phone from ringing after hours:
- Launch GS Wave.
- Click SETTINGS from the bottom right hand corner.
- Click ADVANCED SETTINGS from menu.
- DND = ENABLE
- Click DND SETTINGS from menu.
- Select TIME BASED from menu.
- START TIME = When phone should stop accepting calls from Helix Telecom.
- END TIME = When phone should begin accepting calls from Helix Telecom again.
- Click blue checkbox found at top right hand corner of the screen to save your changes.
- Click BACK blue arrow found at top left hand corner of the screen.
Choose Compatible Networks
Grandstream Wave will use any available data connection by default. If you want to configure your phone to only work on WiFi follow these instructions.
- Launch GS Wave.
- Click SETTINGS from the bottom right hand corner.
- Click ADVANCED SETTINGS from menu.
- DND = ENABLE
- Click DND SETTINGS from menu.
- Select TIME BASED from menu.
- START TIME = When phone should stop accepting calls from Helix Telecom.
- END TIME = When phone should begin accepting calls from Helix Telecom again.
- Click blue checkbox found at top right hand corner of the screen to save your changes.
- Click BACK blue arrow found at top left hand corner of the screen.
